Below are some snippets about work we are doing or have done for clients.
In the past we have assisted a timber door and window manufacturing business in Noosaville (Shutters Direct) to gain efficiencies in their quoting process by building an Excel model that encompassed pricing of doors and windows for houses, creation of cutting sheets for the factory and creation of purchase orders for hardware for the job-ticket. This model took quoting time for a large new home from 3 days to half a day and better linked the factory schedule and hardware purchases to the job.
Wagtail Coffee, a mobile coffee cart and coffee retailer, is a major user of Byz Boost’s services. In the early days of new ownership, we helped refine the operations of the business and establish a online shopping cart for the retail sales of its coffee and coffee-making accessories. Visit their website to purchase excellent organic certified coffee and quality accessories – http://www.wagtailcoffee.com.au.
Byz Boost is now working with clients interstate in Darwin and Victoria. Embracing the power of the internet, files are shared with clients via Dropbox, communication is done using Skype to ensure that BAS/PAYG commitments are met.
Byz Boost has taken on the bookkeeping for an innovative yet diverse business operating an online eco-friendly surf store (www.surfinggreen.com.au) and running progressive ball skills classes to young children (www.kiddiekicks.com.au). They are a global retailer while delivering services to the local community in the form of kids activities. After bringing their bookkeeping up to date and providing a little in-house training on MYOB, we are working with this business to integrate their on-line presence with their financial commitments.
Early in 2011, Byz Boost took on a client who had just purchased a business who’s bookkeeping was operating in the dark-ages. At startup, we systemised their office, setup their bookkeeping on MYOB, ensured that employment commitments were met and insurance was compliant, then trained staff to do the bookkeeping from data entry through to BAS/PAYG preparation.
We now have 2 clients that have opted to use SAASU, an internet based accounting package. Our main role was to help them get their file setup so that they could continue to enter their own data for reporting. We are also affiliated with one of these businesses – Mongrel Dog Marketing – so if you need general or online marketing and copyrighting services, contact Wendy Elms at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are affiliated with a local accountant in Coolum named My Accountant QLD. Karen Tolley and her team would be only too pleased to discuss any accounting needs you may have. Visit her website to make contact – www.myaccountantQLD.
In the last 12 months, we helped a new business, Annabella the Wedding Chapel to get their ‘back office’ practices in place. Visit their website to see view this scenic country wedding venue – http://www.annabellatheweddingchapel.com.au.
